Schmitt 50CC cylinder kit

Schmitt "Sportfreund" aluminum cylinder kit with 50cc, 38mm bore for 44mm stroke, compatible with Simson mopeds / Mokick S51, KR51/2, and SR50.

Manufactured in Europe, the Schmitt cylinder is a high-torque 50cc 4-channel cylinder with a centered cylinder head and a nickel-carbide-silicon-coated liner. This high-performance cylinder from the “Sportfreund” series is a true mashup and comes with a newly developed Almot piston featuring increased ovality. The thermal properties of this piston are significantly above the usual standard.

The cylinder and head have a larger surface area to improve cooling; furthermore, the design allows for further machining of the cylinder without the need for cumbersome gluing or welding.

This cylinder combines state-of-the-art combustion chamber contours, flow channels, and cutting-edge material alloys into a 50cc design that retains the original look.
